What happens on the discovery call?
We spend 20 minutes learning your current tech stack, your biggest bottleneck, and your goals. We tell you what we’d recommend and whether our engagement model is the right fit. No pitch deck, no sales pressure.
How quickly can you start?
Most engagements kick off within 2–3 weeks of the roadmap session. For urgent projects (a practice-management migration, a broken Salesforce org), we can often start within a week.
Do you work with practices outside Chicago?
Yes. Fractional CTO is a remote-first role and we have active clients across the United States. Chicago is simply where we maintain local in-person presence and run workshops.
What does the $500 roadmap session include?
A written technology audit of your current stack, a list of the three biggest revenue leaks, a prioritized 90-day implementation plan, and recommended software cuts. The fee is credited in full toward your retainer if you proceed. Most clients save more than $500 per month just from the cuts we recommend.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. All retainers are month-to-month. The roadmap session is a one-time $500 fee. You can cancel your retainer at any time with 30 days notice.
