Fractional CTO for dental & healthcare practices

Your practice runs on eight systems. We make them work as one.

Practice management, phones, CRM, website, reviews, billing, marketing, AI — you already pay for all of it. We manage those vendors for you, connect the pieces, and answer for the result. One partner. One number to call.

No rip-and-replace. You keep the software that works — we make it talk. HIPAA-aware delivery, BAA available.

Sound familiar?

Everyone on your team holds one piece of the patient. None of the pieces connect.

These are the conversations we walk into every week. If one of them is yours, that’s the call to book.

“I'm the integrator now.”The owner
“I’m the integrator now.”Seven logins, four invoices, and every vendor says the problem is the other vendor. You went to dental school to do this?
“The confirmation didn't sync.”Front desk
“The confirmation didn’t sync.”The patient confirmed by text. The schedule never heard about it. Someone calls anyway — or nobody does.
“Which ad brought that patient in?”Office manager
“Which ad brought that patient in?”Website leads land in an inbox, not the CRM. New-patient revenue can’t be traced to what you spent to get it.
What a fractional CTO does

We don’t sell you another tool. We own the ones you have.

A fractional Chief Technology Officer is a part-time technology owner for your practice: someone who manages every vendor, builds the connections between systems, and is accountable for the whole thing working — at a fraction of the $220,000 a full-time CTO costs.

1

Audit the stack

We map every system, login, contract and hand-off — and price what the gaps cost you each month.

  • PMS, phones, CRM, website, reviews, billing
  • Overlapping fees and dead subscriptions
  • Where patients fall through
2

Connect the pieces

We build the integrations and automations so a patient moves through one loop, not eight silos.

  • Confirmations that reach the schedule
  • Leads that land in the CRM, tagged by source
  • Recall, reviews and missed-call text-back on autopilot
3

Run it for you

We hold the vendor relationships, file the tickets, and report the numbers monthly. You get one contact.

  • Month-to-month, no long contract
  • HIPAA-aware, BAA available
  • One roadmap, one bill

A note from the founder

You should know who picks up the phone.

I’m Ishaque. I’ve spent more than twelve years building and running technology teams — including as a senior director of applications engineering and Salesforce platform owner for a national organization. I started Discover Solutions because I kept meeting practice owners doing my old job on nights and weekends, badly, because nobody else would own it.

Here’s the deal: I don’t want to replace your software. I want to be the person accountable for it. When something breaks, you call one number. When you want to grow, there’s one roadmap. And if after twenty minutes I don’t think we’re the right fit, I’ll tell you who is.

Questions owners ask before signing

Straight answers.

What does Discover Solutions actually do?
Discover Solutions is a fractional-CTO partner that manages a dental or healthcare practice’s entire technology stack — practice management software, phones, CRM, website, reviews and AI automation — under one accountable, month-to-month contract. We manage your existing vendors and build the connections between them; we do not force you to replace software that works.
How is this different from hiring an IT company or a full-time CTO?
A full-time CTO costs about $220,000 a year; an IT company fixes tickets but doesn’t own outcomes. We deliver the same accountable ownership of your technology as a month-to-month partner starting at $2,500, and we’re measured on results — connected systems, recovered fees, more booked patients.
Is it HIPAA-compliant?
Delivery is HIPAA-aware and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is available before any patient data is touched. We won’t deploy a tool that breaks your PHI compliance posture, and every AI workflow runs on HIPAA-eligible infrastructure with BAA-covered providers.
Which practice management systems do you support?
Dental: Carestack, Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft. Chiropractic: ChiroTouch, Jane, Genesis. Patient communication: Weave, Solutionreach, Lighthouse 360. Voice and AI: VoiceStack plus custom AI receptionists. CRM: GoHighLevel, Salesforce Health Cloud, Monday.com.
Do you only work in Chicago?
No. We’re based in Chicago and serve practices across the United States. Fractional CTO work is remote-first; the in-person part is the occasional on-site workshop for local clients.
How do we start?
Book a free 20-minute discovery call. If it’s a fit, a $500 roadmap session — credited to your retainer — maps the work before you commit to a monthly engagement.
